Nokia 8.1 Plus receives TENAA certification The integrated fingerprint scanner is confirmed

Although last month it was reported that Nokia 8.1 Plus is the international version of the Nokia X71 (launched yesterday in Taiwan), we found out that phones actually have some differences in endowments. Thus, while the Chinese model brings a physical fingerprint scanner to the back, Nokia 8.1 Plus opts for a fingerprint reader integrated into the screen - an endowment confirmed today by the Chinese agency TENAA .

We notice the rear triple camera with the LED flash placed under the photo module and the fact that we receive a glass back panel. The Nokia logo is here, and a generous cut-out screen for the self-service camera is on the front. Unfortunately, the TENAA listing does not reveal the hardware of the device, so we only remain speculative. It remains to be seen if the Nokia 8.1 Plus will opt for a processor other than the Snapdragon 660 found on the Nokia X71 and if there are other differences. We remind you that the Nokia X71 costs 345 euros in Taiwan, offering a package of 6.39 inches FHD +, 6 GB RAM, 128 GB of flash storage and 3500 mAh battery. The rear triple camera is composed of a 48 mpx main sensor, a secondary 8 MPX and a 5 megapixel bokeh capture camera.
